Brightingale and partners meet Queen Máxima
Queen Máxima visited the booth of the Dutch value-based healthcare creators at World of Healthcare last Thursday. Wim Smit (Value2Health) was honoured to discuss the potential of saving costs while simultaneously increasing quality of care in colorectal cancer surgery with her.
Smit and Máxima also elaborated on the fact that value-based healthcare is the effort of many. Smit was joined by André van der Veen (De praktijk Index), Eric Hans Eddes (DICA), Hans van Baren (Simultrainer) and Nick Guldemond (Erasmus School of Health Policy & Management), and MRDM and Brightingale. These organisations all perform complementary activities that contribute to finding a sustainable balance between high quality of care, high quality of life and containable costs.
The organisations decided to team up at the Congresstival to show high-level international delegates that the Netherlands are frontrunners in working together to deliver data-driven patient centered care in practice.
